The health of all passengers remains the absolute priority of the airport authorities. In this sense, the State of Senegal through the circular 12/05 of July 4, 2020 obliges any person aged over two years entering Senegal to present a negative PCR test of less than 5 days.

Otherwise, the PCR test will be compulsory at Blaise Diagne International Airport for all travellers arriving from abroad. The price of the PCR test is 25,000 CFA Francs since 11 June, i.e. 38 € and 45 $. The antigenic test is not recognised in Senegal and the presentation of a vaccination booklet is not, for the moment, a condition for entry into Senegal.

In case of doubt or presence of symptoms, the passenger will be obliged to repeat a PCR test at the airport.

At AIBD, PCR tests are carried out using nasopharyngeal techniques, on samples taken using nasal swabs or nasal secretions, thus guaranteeing the quality of the analysis and the reliability of the results.

The PCR test result is usually available within 24 hours of collection.

In exceptional cases, the results may take longer than 24 hours due to unforeseen circumstances.

Please note: Any passenger presenting a false test will be disembarked and taken to the police station.
